September 2004

Iím writing this on September 22, 2004 - so, Happy Birthday Bilbo and Frodo!

Sorry I havenít updated the place for a while. It has been a very busy summer. How busy? Well, I finished two novels, and thatís a lot of work.

The novels were I HUNGER FOR YOU, the third in the vampire Primes series. It will be out in March of 2005. And a historical romance, SCANDALOUS MIRANDA, which will be published sometime in 2005.

I took time off to go to a wedding in Illinois in August. Congratulations Barbara and Bruce!

Then I spent a week in the Black Hills of South Dakota in early September playing tourist with friends and family. Iíll post some photos of the scenery on the site whenever I get around to having the film developed.

While in the Black Hills I spent an afternoon at one of the most amazing places Iíve ever been. The IRAM Wild Horse Sanctuary is an 11,000 acre ranch where herds of rescued wild mustangs are allowed to roam free. You should all go there. Or, if not, at least visit their website: www.wildmustangs.com

Stepping Through the Stargate

Being published sometime in October is STEPPING THROUGH THE STARGATE, an unauthorized book of essays about one of the best television shows - ever. I have an essay in this book, titled "I Think His Name is Homer". Itís about the use of pop culture references on SG-1. Iím really looking forward to reading what other contributors to the book have to say. And for my fellow STARGATE: SG-1 fans Iím offering a copy of this book as a contest prize. For a chance to win a copy of STEPPING THROUGH THE STARGATE answer this question:

What is Jack O'Neill's favorite television program?

Send your answer to sgsizemore@msn.com using Stargate Contest in the subject line. The winner will be announced on November 1, 2004.

More soon. Happy Autumn!

Susan
